Why the article, and not the category page
Readers do not browse category pages. They search for "best legal thriller books" and land on the article. Almost all of the search traffic that reaches Skriuwer arrives on one of those 1,281 best-of lists, so that is the only placement worth selling you. We used to sell a top slot on the category page. We stopped, because it did not move anyone's sales.
Exactly what happens after you submit
Step by step, no surprises.
- 1
Fill in the free form
Title, Amazon link, and a cover if you have one. Two minutes, no account, no card details. If you want a placement too, tell us in the same form and we send a Stripe link afterwards.
- 2
We check it within 2 business days
We make sure the book is real and the links work. If it does not fit the site at all, we say so before any money changes hands.
- 3
Your page goes live
A dedicated page with your cover, description, and Amazon buy button. You get an email with the live URL and a badge you can paste on your own site.
- 4
It stays forever
No renewals, no expiry dates, no recurring fees. If you ever want the listing removed, one reply is enough.
What the free listing includes
No fee, no card, no account.
Dedicated book page
Your own page on Skriuwer with cover image, full description, and Amazon buy button. Yours to link to from anywhere.
Category list placement
Your book appears on every relevant category page. If your history book fits both Ancient Rome and Viking History, it goes on both.
Site search
Skriuwer search returns your book when readers type your title, author name, or genre keywords.
A badge for your own site
Generate a "Listed on Skriuwer" button in two clicks and paste it on your author page. The link points straight at your book.
Permanent, and free
No fee, no card, no account. The listing does not expire and you can have it removed any time by replying to one email.
What a placement adds on top
From €29, one-time.
A spot inside a best-of list
We place your book by hand into the relevant "best books" article, with your cover, a real paragraph about the book, and your buy link. Those articles are where almost all of our search traffic lands.
Your book page opened to Google
Free listings stay out of the search index on purpose. A placement opens your page up and adds it to the sitemap.
Featured badge
A Featured marker on your book page and on the category list, above the standard entries.
Marked as paid, on purpose
Every paid placement is labelled as one and the outbound link carries rel="sponsored". Readers trust the lists because we do not hide this, which is exactly why a spot in them is worth buying.
One-time, permanent
No renewals. The paragraph stays in the article for as long as the article exists.

Common questions
Is the listing really free, or is there a catch later?
Really free. No card, no account, no trial that turns into a subscription. We make money on placements and on iWrity, not on listings.
Why is my free page kept out of Google?
Because a page with a cover and a blurb does not deserve to rank, and adding hundreds of them would drag down the articles that do. Your page is fully live, you can link to it and put the badge on your site. Buy a placement and we open it to search and add it to the sitemap.
Can I list a book in multiple categories?
Yes. If your book fits more than one category, we list it on all relevant pages at no extra cost.
Do you accept any genre?
We focus on history, mythology, true crime, conspiracy, psychology, and related nonfiction. Fiction is considered case by case if it fits our audience closely.
What if my book is rejected?
We check before payment. If your book does not fit, we tell you before you pay. No refund situations.
Do you mark paid placements?
Yes, every one of them, and the outbound link carries rel="sponsored". Hiding it would be worth a few more clicks and cost us the trust that makes the lists worth being in.
How is this different from a newsletter promo?
A newsletter promo gets you one send, then it is gone. A placement puts your book inside an article that keeps pulling search traffic every month and stays live as long as the article does.
Is this available in other languages?
Yes. Skriuwer serves readers in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Depending on your book, we can list it on the relevant language sections too.
Need reviews, not just visibility?
A listing puts your book in front of readers. Reviews are a different problem, and there is a way to solve it without paying anything.
